BOOKS ON THE NEW EVANGELICALISM
The
New Neutralism II
A review of John E. Ashbrook's book documenting the heresy and compromises of
the New Evangelical movement. It names names and reviews organizations and
doesn't pull any punches as it exposes this movement and judges it by Scriptural
principles. To see

Reforming
Fundamentalism
This book by the church historian, George M. Marsden, is the official history of
Fuller Seminary, the flagship seminary of the New Evangelicalism. It is an
inside history of the philosophy, aims, and compromises of the New
Evangelicalism by those who defined it. There is no better book that gives
the history and exposes the disastrous compromise and apostasy of this
movement. And all of this is presented, not as a matter of debate, but
openly admitted. Marsden lays all the cards on the table and all the
reader has to do is apply the Biblical verdict on this movement. To see

Evangelicalism
Divided
This is a review of Iain Murray's book documenting the history,
principles, and consequences of the New Evangelicalism in England. It
seeks to do for England what Ashbrook's book does for the Christian community in
the United States. The main difference is that Murray's response to the
problem us much more muted and anemic, and more of a tepid raising of concerns
than a militant defense of the old evangelicalism. To see
